A five-star café isn't everyone's café. Cupd scores specialty cafés against your own taste, using the roasters they pour and how they brew. You decide what's right for you. At home, scan a bag and get a recipe for your grinder. Free, in your browser."

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Max from Berlin, a coffee enthusiast who loves trying new filter coffees. My favorites right now: washed Colombians from La Cabra, DAK and Calendar.
Two things kept bugging me. At home, I struggled to get the recipe right for every new bag. And when I went to a new café, too often there was no pour over, at best a batch brew. What I really wanted to know before I went: which roaster is this café pouring?
So I built Cupd.
Cupd shows what's in a café's hopper right now and scores the café against your taste: your favorite roasters, processing, brewing methods, origin and flavor notes.
You can filter for cafés with pour over, or filter by roaster to find the cafés that pour it. Cafés keep their hopper up to date, and guests can report the bag they see. A report counts once a second guest confirms it.
At home, snap a photo of your bag and the AI Brew Assistant writes a recipe with the grind setting for your grinder. Guided Brew walks you through it with a timer. If the cup isn't right yet, tell the assistant what to change, like "less acidic".
What's live today: the web app at my.cupd.app, with specialty cafés in 14 European cities. It's free with no subscription, and every month includes 4 bag scans and 12 AI Brew Assistant requests. You can browse without an account.
The iPhone app is in a private beta.
I'd love your feedback: Which city should come next? Which roasters do you look for when you travel? And what would make you trust a café score?
