Solo dev here launching a pet project. Initially this was just a meditation timer app but I expanded it to sync with Apple Calendar and create tasks. So I could actually find time to meditate. Tasks + meditation timer + guided breathing + journaling = one app.
I could never find time to meditate. so I built a task app with a full meditation + mindfulness suite.
Like a lot of people, I’ve always downloaded meditation apps, used them for a week, and then fell off. The problem wasn’t motivation — it was remembering and fitting it in.
So I built Cues for iOS.
It’s a mindfulness + productivity hub where meditation, breathing exercises, and journaling live right inside your daily schedule.
Features...
Schedule meditation sessions like actual calendar events
Schedule any task and attach media + URLs
Meditation timer with ambient music, brown noise and binaural beats
Breathing exercises (4-7-8, Physiological Sigh, Coherent, etc.) with visuals & haptics
Journaling with prompts and mood tracking
Unified view of tasks with your calendar
The goal is to stop treating mindfulness as an “extra” and instead weave it into your day the same way you do meetings, workouts, or errands.
If you’ve tried apps like Calm/Headspace but struggled to stay consistent, do you think having it baked into your task manager/calendar would help?
