CSV Preflight is a local inspection tool for people preparing CSV imports. It checks encoding, quoting, headers and row structure, with optional column rules for unique keys, required values and length. You can export the findings as CSV.
The focus is a small inspection step before import: files stay on your Mac, and the app does not repair them or guarantee compatibility with every importer. It supports UTF-8 and BOM-marked UTF-16, files up to 256 MB, and duplicate checks on the first 500,000 logical rows.
