What do DJs actually want from browser-based DJ software?
I’m building CROSSCUE, a browser-native DJ platform, and I’m curious what matters most to people who actually mix.
What would make you seriously consider using DJ software in the browser?
For example:
• zero-install setup
• local file mixing
• YouTube-link mixing
• MIDI controller support
• recording
• Auto DJ
• low latency
• familiar turntable-style controls
• no ads or audio interruptions
What would be a deal-breaker for you?
I’m especially interested in feedback from DJs, producers and people who already use Serato, rekordbox, VirtualDJ, djay or other browser-based DJ tools.
