Hello, Product Hunt! 👋
I’m the developer behind Croom.XYZ, and I’m so excited to finally share it with this community.
Why I built this:
Most modern chat platforms have become "heavy"—they require phone numbers, massive app downloads, and constant data syncing. I wanted to build the opposite: a "frictionless" chat experience that feels like the early web but runs on modern cloud tech.
What makes it different?
Zero Registration: No emails, no passwords. Pick a name and jump into a room.
True Device Inclusivity: I spent a lot of time optimizing Croom for low-bandwidth devices like JioPhone (KaiOS) and older mobile browsers, ensuring that audio and text chat are accessible to everyone, regardless of their hardware.
Privacy First: We don't track you. Once you leave the room, your session is gone.
I’d love your feedback!
I’m specifically looking for your thoughts on:
Audio Quality: How does it sound on your specific device?
Mobile UX: Is the "Browse" flow intuitive on your phone?
Feature Requests: What room categories or tools should I add next?
I’ll be here all day to answer your technical questions or just to chat in the "Tech" room on the site!
Happy chatting!
