CronTron

Hi, everyone! First off, a giant big thank you to our hunter www.producthunt.com/@matthieudeluze for hunting us! What an honor. CronTron.com is a service with a simple goal: to run cron jobs in a distributed manner for the cloud-based services of today. It modernizes the way that cron jobs are managed and I built it specifically with developers’ needs in mind. I looked at what I needed as a DevOps guy when I do cron tasks - that was the starting point. For instance, CronTron provides you with a dashboard to manage your cron jobs on the cloud, it sends you alerts when anything goes wrong, and it provides you with a full, detailed history of all your jobs and their outputs, with a detailed breakdown of what happened. We also provide an API ready and waiting in the background, that easily integrates with your current developer workflows. Right now we are starting with scheduled HTTP requests but our plans for the near future include SSH Commands to remote servers and the ability to run JavaScript (aka “CronScript”) on a scheduled basis. Currently, you can run up to three jobs every hour for free, or you can have more jobs run up-to-the-minute if you needed that. This product is in its first version and we have many extension plans. I do realize that it is quite a specialized tool but would love to hear about any features or integrations that you would like!
