**First comment for Product Hunt:**honestly it started during last IPL season. i'd watch a match, it'd end, and then there was just nothing to do. no daily cricket game existed that was actually fun and quick. wordle had that perfect "open, play, done" energy and i wanted that but for cricket.
so i just started building. first year of college, no real dev experience, just figured things out as i went. vanilla JS because i didn't know any frameworks yet. Firebase because i needed multiplayer to work somehow. Vercel because it was free.
the biggest problem i kept hitting was making it feel fresh every day without it getting repetitive. date based seeding ended up being the solution — same seed every day means everyone gets the same puzzle, which makes it shareable and competitive without needing accounts or leaderboards for everything.
kept it completely free and ad free on purpose. i'm a student, i know what it feels like to land on a site that's just ads and popups. didn't want that for something i built.
7 modes live right now - cricket bingo, guess the player, IPL transfer history, player wordle, higher or lower, build your XI and live multiplayer rooms.
would love honest feedback from this community on what works, what doesn't and what you'd build next if you were me
