I built Crewdoku after seeing my wife spend too much time juggling shifts, time off, swaps, and fairness for her team. It generates schedules around your staffing rules, then lets you edit them manually while checking for conflicts. No account, no backend, and your team data stays in your browser.

v0.2.0 is here 🚀
This release focuses on making Crewdoku quicker to set up and easier to use day to day.
Labels for team members
You can now assign labels like Part-time, Senior, or Cashier to people and use them as scheduling requirements.
For example, you can require every shift to have at least one Senior.
Preferences can also be attached directly to a person instead of being configured separately for each department. Avoid rules marked as Required will never be violated.
Monthly calendar
View the whole month at once and add time off directly from the calendar.
Import everything from one spreadsheet
Team members, departments, preferences, and labels can now all be imported together.
Minimum rest across scheduling periods
Crewdoku now takes the previous scheduling period into account. A late shift at the end of one period won't be followed by an early shift in the next if there isn't enough rest time in between.
A few smaller improvements
Faster startup, plus cleaner and more compact cards on mobile.
There's also a new What's New panel inside the app. Click the version number in the footer anytime to see recent changes.
What should I work on next? 👇
Small Crewdoku update: mobile support is now much better.
I noticed a few people were trying the app from their phones, so I improved the responsive layout to make previewing and exploring Crewdoku easier on smaller screens.
It’s still a desktop-first app by design. Scheduling is basically working with a table/spreadsheet, and that experience is never going to be great on a small screen.
The goal here is not to make mobile the primary workflow, but to make it much easier to open the app, try the sample, review a schedule, and get a feel for how Crewdoku works.
