Hey Product Hunt, I’m Ashutosh. I built CrewDock out of a frustration I kept running into in my own workflow. I spend a lot of time in the terminal, and every project switch felt more annoying than it should. I’d open a folder, spin up shells, check Git somewhere else, jump into an editor, lose context, and then repeat the whole thing again for the next repo. It never felt like one workspace. It felt like a bunch of disconnected tools I had to keep stitching together. So I started building CrewDock for myself. CrewDock turns any folder into a live workspace with real terminal panes, persistent layouts, built-in source control, and quick handoff into tools like Cursor, VS Code, Zed, Xcode, Finder, and Terminal. The goal was simple: open a folder, keep the shell alive, and let the workspace stay attached to the repo. I wanted it to feel local-first, fast, and made for developers who think in terminals and like to vibe code without constantly rebuilding setup and context. Would genuinely love your feedback.
