Crew AI

I consider myself a maker, yet for many reasons, it’s been over two years since I don’t launch something to the public. Today I'm breaking the cycle by launching the beta version of crew-ai.com on Product Hunt. I have worked on several interesting projects with amazing people, and learned a lot through these last couple of months, but the need to deploy something in front of an actual user has been itching me. I was planning to do a soft launch. But after watching @kat from YC's video about launching and following @levlesio for many years now, I know that it's never too early to launch. Attending Small Bets' cohort helped me put less pressure on a single project, and focus on launching and testing a variety of hypotheses ASAP. Used to focus on big goals, which were hard to achieve, and be able to ship and get a small success that gets the ball rolling. This, combined with the book: The Obstacle is the Way* by @RyanHoliday. I could recognize how I have been blocking myself from just building and shipping. This is why in the last month I built Crew AI to Keep teams' branding on point with consistent headshots, without the need to call a photographer. You might think…not yet another AI avatar or PFP app! …to what I respond… I understand the AI craze can be a bit overwhelming. But Crew AI is focused on solving a specific problem: Team Headshots. Besides, most apps in this vertical are B2C (focused on consumers). Do you remember at school or your work when everyone would dress up because the photographer was coming? Well, now with remote companies, this is not attainable. This is why we see so many team pages with different styles and looking out of the brand. I want to solve this. Here are some potential features to build down the road: - Import from Instagram - Self-serve for team members (collaboration uploading images) - Custom organization style - Post-processing images: - Outpainting - Remove details There are many things I can brainstorm for the roadmap, but I know the most important thing is not my perspective, but the feedback I get, so I would highly appreciate it if you can share this thread and support the project on Product Hunt.
