AI platforms have created their own currencies: credits, tokens, minutes, generations, and more. CreditFX translates them into real-world usage and dollar rates so you can understand what you're actually paying for. Calculate what your credits get you, or use the Usage Planner on supported platforms to start with what you want to create and see the credits, plan, and estimated cost required. Free to use. No account required.
Hey Product Hunters! I'm Gabe, most of you have seen around here and there, supporting and launching other products. I'm back w/ a side project that's near and dear to my heart.
I built CreditFX because I got tired of trying to figure out what AI credits actually meant on a specific platform. Also a lot of my customers, friends, and family would ask me all the time, their assumption is that I should know because I work in tech. Sadly, they were wrong.
It's confusing! 1 credit on a platform equals 1 minute of generation/creation, whereas in another platform it equals something else. Enter CreditFX!
It started with the idea of take all of these made-up units and translate them into something a normal person can understand, without having to run it through AI!
Since that initial idea, I've evolved it somewhat, I added a usage planner, not all platforms, but some. With more platforms to come soon.
I'm hoping that instead of figuring out credits first, you can say what you actually intend to create and CreditFX works backward to show you the usage, credits, and plan required.
I'm rolling out that feature carefully, want to test it thoroughly, and also it's deeper than just traditional AI pricing and here are your credits. The deeper I've gone into, the more confusing it gets.
I'd rather not support a platform yet, than give you something more confusing.
I've also added the functionality for you to export your chosen platform and credits.
CreditFX is free, no account is needed, no email is required to export the data you chose. The only time I ask for your email is if you want to get emailed for pricing changes and that's the only reason I will ever email you.
To be clear, despite the "FX" in the name, we're not an "exchange" in the financial sense of the word. You can never, buy, sell, or trade credits, tokens, or whatever other unit of pricing we use. At least not yet, hell you never know what the future holds! Ok kidding, I'm not getting into that regulatory hell-hole! It'll never happen, not with me anyway.
All I plan to do w/ CreditFX is to translate what they're worth in dollars and cents!
If you try it, I'd love to know what works, what doesn't, what's missing, what platform you'd like to see next.
That's more valuable than just telling me it looks great! But if you do like the way it looks, tell me that too!
