She was anticipating what I was building.
Every colouring book in the house is someone else's imagination. Animals doing things she didn't choose and princess dresses she didn't describe... none of the wild or specific or weird stuff that lives in a kid's head.
A lot of late nights later, Crayon Dreaming materialised.
You give it a theme - "a tea party with dogs in Tokyo," "rocket ships chased through the sky by elephants on jetpacks," a story you made up at bedtime.
