Hey Product Hunt. I'm Denis, I started Craftwork in 2018. Back then I was freelancing and every project had the same problem. I needed design assets that looked decent in a real product. Everything I found was either ugly clip art or overpriced stock that still needed hours of work to fit. So I started making my own. Then I found other designers who felt the same way. One became ten, ten became fifty. Now we have over 200 people contributing to the library. It took us 8 years to get to 1,800 packs and 20,000 individual assets. That's the slow part nobody talks about. You can't rush a designer making a good illustration pack. You can't automate quality review when every pack has a different style. We rejected more assets than we published, especially in the early years when we had no reputation and designers would send us their B-tier work to test the waters. The other thing nobody tells you about running a design marketplace: file formats are a nightmare. We support Figma, Framer, Webflow, SVG, PNG, AI, EPS, PSD, OTF, TTF. Every author works differently. Every update breaks something. We spent more time on file infrastructure than on marketing. This year we finally built the tools we always wanted: MCP Server.
