Hi Hunters!
My friend and I were looking for a way to book flexible offices online, but it didn’t exist, so we programmed one.
We currently have 7000+ coworking spaces listed from 1200+ cities around the world. Listings can be sorted by their reviews, price, distance from the beach, whether or not childcare services are offered, fast wi-fi, and any specialized niches they may have (LGBT focus, law, crypto, design, marketing etc).
For "hardcore nomads" we also offer coworking spaces in bizzare places like in Greenland near the North Pole, a medieval castle, a former church, or even a private Caribbean island!
For coworking operators it works like this: Nomads can suggest their favourite coworking space for our platform, and others can then upvote that space (yes, just like on Producthunt). If a space receives 50 or more upvotes, they are invited to join and register with us.
For the last year we’ve been running a beta version and after fixing all the bugs we’re glad to announce the launch of our final version this September (and yes, we’ve been testing too long). It’s taken us many sleepless nights, blood, sweat and even tears, but it’s all been worth it as we simply love the vision behind Coworkbooking. Still launching is pretty scary for me, thinking all night which bug will pop out :-)
I strongly believe that this service can support and complement the coworking movement. Why is the coworking movement so important? In the last decade we all noticed a huge rise in the number of unhealthy workplace environments. With many businesses focussing their workplaces around profitability at all costs, workplace environments can cause lots of stress and tension, which can eventually lead to burnout syndrome. Many of my friends, even myself personally have all been affected. Coworking, travelling and working remotely can all be great solutions to these issues, which result in win-win situations for companies also. Companies that allow working remotely benefit from employees that are happier, more creative, more productive and more loyal employees as a result. My strong believe is that by 2025 half of world workforce will work remotely.
I hope you like our ideas and I’d love to hear your feedback.
P.S.: So what’s next-step? After September, we’ll be fully focussed on connecting our API with more coworking management software so that every single one of our listed spaces can be booked in real time. There are more than a hundred management software options out there so it will take a while, but we’re working on it.
