What creates the most work for your group today: finding players, collecting payments or tracking attendance?
How does Courtside handle last-minute cancellations or no-shows for social games, and is there a fee for venues to list on the platform?
@mervekiret Great question. For social games, joins and payments are handled in the app so cancellations can follow clear booking rules instead of messy chat coordination. We are also building stronger no-show, report and player reliability flows as the community grows. For venues, we are onboarding partners directly during rollout and keeping setup lightweight, with no upfront self-serve listing fee.
@mervekiret An update on the organiser side: Host Studio now includes attendee check ins and insights into returning players, attendance and revenue contribution. Cancellation eligibility depends on whether it is a court booking, social game or hosted event, so there is no single rule for every activity. These tools help hosts track attendance, but cannot guarantee that nobody misses a game. For venues, the current partner options and onboarding enquiry are at https://courtside.ae/partners/ and we can confirm the applicable commercial terms before onboarding.
would love to see a built-in chat or comments section for each venue so players can ask about parking, shoe rentals, or court conditions before booking. that small touch would save a lot of back-and-forth with the staff and make the whole experience feel more social, especially for newcomers trying padel or pickleball for the first time.
@atakandeftsjbn Love this idea. We already want each venue page to make practical details obvious before booking, things like parking, rentals, showers and court conditions. A lightweight venue Q&A or comments layer could fit really well, especially for newcomers who want confidence before their first game.
@atakandeftsjbn A useful update since our earlier reply: venue pages now surface supplied amenities and booking policies, including shoe requirements and rental information where configured. For group events, named companions, attendee lists and payments help reduce the coordination needed in chat. We do not currently offer a public Q&A thread on every venue, so I would not want to promise that feature. Your point about making practical details easy to find is exactly right.
Does the app show which courts are indoor versus outdoor, and can you filter by that when searching for a slot?
@evval588200 Yes. Courtside is designed to show whether a venue is indoor or outdoor, plus key amenities, and we are making those filters more useful as more venues come online. The goal is exactly that: choose your sport, date and setting, then book without calling around.
@evval588200 A current update: indoor and outdoor filters are available, alongside sport and date selection. Venue details also show the setting where the venue has supplied it. We now support seven sports, with English and Arabic interfaces. Availability still depends on the venues in your area.
The live availability feature is a really thoughtful touch, especially since most court booking apps still make you call or message the venue to check open slots.
@yarenaralp Thank you. That pain point is exactly why we started with live availability. Players should not have to call, wait for WhatsApp replies or guess which slots are actually free. We want booking a court to feel as immediate as choosing a time and confirming it.

Players can also find community events, meet new people or bring their own group, with named spots and payments kept together. Organisers can see who has joined and track attendance. The aim is to spend less time organising in chat and more time playing.
