Hey everyone, I built this because I used to be a regular user of one of the big coupon extensions. Once I learned about all the shady stuff happening like tracking what people buy, reselling data, and even hiding better coupons just so they can push their own referral ones, it felt really off-putting. So I decided to make a more honest alternative. With CouponPilot, my goal was to build something that’s privacy-respecting and actually just as if not more useful than the big name brands with way more coupons, better coverage across sites, and higher-quality codes. No tricks, no hiding the best coupon just because another one earns more money, and no secret deals with ecommerce platforms. Just a straightforward tool that tries to help people save. It is not monetized yet and I have no plans on monetizing it anytime soon, If any changes are made in the future, all changes will be publicly notified to everyone, and no matter what, recording and selling your data is something we will NEVER do. Happy to answer questions or get feedback 🙂 (Also about the icon of the entire project, I had asked AI to make sample icons for the extension during development and it made an inverted $ symbol, I found it funny and decided to stick with it)
