Private, end-to-end encrypted app for couples - share notes, photos, moods, intimate moments, and a couples quiz only you and your partner can read.

Curious how the end-to-end encryption actually works if I want to recover old entries from a new device or share access if something happens to one of us?
@tuncay2tva Thanks for the thoughtful questions!
Everything's encrypted with a key derived from a code only you and your partner share. Not your device, not your account, nothing we hold on our end.
Your history sits on our servers only as ciphertext. Sign in on the new phone, enter your couple code, and the key is re-derived locally. Your old entries decrypt right there. Nothing's tied to a single device. It's tied to the code, so any device with the code can read your full history.
If something happens to one of you, you both hold the same code, so the other partner keeps full access from their own device. Nothing's locked to one person's account. There's also an encrypted export, so you can keep a backup of everything outside the app whenever you want.
The code is the only key. Because we genuinely can't read your data, we also can't recover it. There's no backdoor. If you both ever lost the code and every signed-in device, it's gone. So keep the code somewhere safe.
A shared calendar or countdown for date nights and anniversaries would be a sweet addition. Even something simple like marking "last intimate moment" trends over time could help couples notice patterns and communicate better about what they want. Also helpful: an optional export feature so you have a backup of your shared memories outside the app, just in case.
@sinansmekpcsd Appreciate the thoughtful suggestions! A couple of these are actually already in the app. Relief tracks your shared moments over time. There's a running connection counter and a stats section that surfaces exactly those patterns. There's also an export feature so you can retrieve all your decrypted content and save it outside the app whenever you want. The date-night / anniversary countdown is a cool idea, noted. Thanks for sharing your feedback!
How does the recovery work if one of us loses access to our account, since everything is end-to-end encrypted?
@mzeyyenb78a As long as either of you still has the couple code, a backup code, or a device that's still signed in, you can always get back into your private encrypted space. Since the key is shared, one of you can restore the other. It's only unrecoverable if you both lose the code, all your backup codes, and every signed-in device at once. That's the cost of real end-to-end encryption: because no one but the two of you ever holds the key, not even we can reset it for you.
The encryption angle actually matters here, feels different from those shared albums that end up everywhere. The mood tracker is a nice touch my partner and I would probably use without overthinking it.
@fahrettinacrg9 Thanks! That's exactly why it exists! The mood tracker is definitely a fun feature!
Finally an app that feels like it actually keeps things between us two, the mood tracking quietly became our favorite little ritual.
@robersonbr32549 Thanks Brenda! Glad you're enjoying the mood tracking feature!
Love that the notes and photos are truly private, the couple quiz is a sweet touch and actually sparked a real conversation with my partner tonight.
@perihanxt4s Definitely! The whole point of the app is to provide a truly private and encrypted space for just the two of you! We're so glad to hear that the couples quiz sparked a conversation with your partner! That's exactly the type of connection we're trying to foster!
