I built Country Draw because most geography quizzes test recognition, while drawing from memory tests whether you understand a country’s actual shape and its relationship to neighbors. The map gives either surrounding context or a capital clue, then the scoring overlay shows exactly where the attempt matched, missed, or went beyond the true border. I would especially value feedback on mobile drawing and whether the score feels intuitive.

love that there's no login wall and you can just jump straight into guessing. the matched vs missed vs extra breakdown is honestly such a clean way to learn where you went wrong

What makes a country outline memorable?

While building Country Draw, I noticed that recognizing a country and drawing it from memory are very different skills. Coastlines are usually easier to remember than land borders, and distinctive features such as Italy s boot or Chile s length act as anchors.

Which country shape do you find easiest or hardest to reconstruct from memory? I m using the answers to decide which practice guides and difficulty groupings to add next.
