Cost of Me shows you what your everyday habits are really costing you. Log a coffee, takeaway, subscription or other regular spend in seconds and see what it becomes over a month, year or five years. Set challenges, track money you chose not to spend, and turn small changes into real savings goals. No bank connection required — just a simple way to make the true cost of your habits impossible to ignore.
I built Cost of Me after thinking about how often we justify everyday spending with “it’s only $6.”
A coffee, takeaway or small subscription doesn't feel expensive in the moment. But repeat it often enough and the number can become surprisingly large.
I didn't want to build another complicated budgeting app or something that needed access to your bank account. I wanted something much simpler: log a habit in seconds and immediately understand what it's actually costing you over a month, a year and eventually several years.
As I built it, the idea evolved beyond just showing spending. Cost of Me now helps put those numbers into perspective, track the money you choose not to spend, set challenges and show what small changes could mean for things you actually care about.
One of my favourite examples is a regular coffee habit. Seeing “$6” doesn't mean much. Seeing what that same habit costs over a year — or how much of a holiday it could pay for — hits very differently.
This is still an early product and I'm continuing to improve it based on how people actually use it.
I'd really appreciate feedback from the Product Hunt community — particularly what you like, what you don't, and what would make you keep using it.
Thanks for checking out Cost of Me.
