love that the discount just shows up at checkout without anyone having to dig for a code or screenshot anything. basically the group vote on the variant feels really natural, like you know who actually has the best take when picking between three colors.
@esmaobuthbbt Thank you Esma — that's exactly what we were going for. Codes and screenshots always felt like homework, so the discount just applies itself at checkout once the group's in. And yeah, the variant vote came from watching people do it the messy way anyway — screenshots in group chats, "which one?" So we just built the group chat into the product page. Curious: would you want the vote to be public to everyone on the page, or stay private to your group?
Pulled up a sneaker page with two friends and we voted on the size in like two minutes, then the discount kicked in at checkout without anyone having to fumble with a code. Wish every site had this.
@glsm1e7p Two minutes for a three-person size vote is honestly the best thing I could hear — thanks Gülsüm. Sneakers were the exact case we designed around, since sizing is where everyone second-guesses each other. "Wish every site had this" is the goal — we're working on making CoShop something any store can drop in. Did the checkout discount amount land the way your group expected, or was there a moment of "wait, how much off?"
