finally tried cortex today and the bring-your-own-model angle is the real win, no telemetry sneaking around. agents handled a small refactor across two files without me babysitting, which is more than i expected for a windows-native ide.
Love that the keys stay local on Windows without forcing a cloud round-trip. The handoff flow to autonomous agents feels thoughtfully scoped, not the usual "AGI in a box" hype.
