At CrypTool we try to explain and teach cryptography and its impact. And this web experiment is an initiative by CrypTool to explain how recent decentralized tracing protocols work. This web experiment covers DP-3T & Contact Tracing/Exposure Notification (Apple & Google) protocols. The fact that these protocols are often described as highly technical can lead to misinformation, especially in the press, which does not always understand the details. But how can you blame them? They're not experts, we are. This is why we have tried to make the details as popular as possible by creating this web page detailing what needs to be understood about these protocols and their impact.
