COREY is a browser app for checking and correcting IFC building data.
A building can look right in 3D while its data is incomplete. Missing properties, inconsistent codes, and repeated gaps are hard to review when the model and spreadsheet are disconnected.
COREY brings that review together:
1. Open an IFC file and inspect the model in 3D.
2. Configure checks for the information your project needs.
3. Find flagged elements and filter them in the data table.
4. Export to Excel, make bulk edits, import the changes, and validate again.
5. Export an edited IFC when the data is ready.
The original use case was CORENET X model review. The same configurable workflow is useful to BIM coordinators, model authors, and reviewers checking their own project requirements. Results reflect the checks you configure; they do not certify a submission.
COREY is free and open source under the MIT license. Local IFC files open in the browser. Validation can send extracted model data to the app server for larger runs or as a fallback; optional server storage and MCP integrations are available for teams that configure them.
