A focused engineering intake for pure copper and copper-alloy LPBF projects. It collects CAD files, material choice, quantity, operating conditions, tolerances, finishing, and inspection requirements in one secure RFQ flow so feasibility questions are identified earlier and quotations rely on fewer assumptions.

Tried this for a copper heat sink project and the intake actually caught tolerance questions I usually forget to mention upfront. Nice that finishing and inspection are baked in, so the quote comes back with realistic lead times instead of vague placeholders.
Love how this leans into copper's quirks instead of treating it like any other print job. The intake asking about operating conditions and tolerances up front is smart, that's where most LPBF quotes go sideways when nobody's on the same page about conductivity or thermal cycling expectations.
Would love to see a built-in chat or threaded notes tied to specific RFQ fields. Right now if a reviewer flags a tolerance issue or wants to ask about the powder batch, that context gets buried in email and the quote often comes back slower than it should. Even a simple annotation per line item would make the back-and-forth cleaner.
Really nice that the intake pulls out finishing and inspection needs up front, those usually come back to bite us later in copper LPBF. The CAD-plus-material flow felt tight.
