Hey hey PH ✌️ COOP helps you cop the latest sneaker drops. 👟 I’m Brian, one of the co-creators. We’re still quite early in the development process (we started in January), but we wanted to get COOP out as soon as possible to get feedback and learn what *the people* want! We started with a calendar of all upcoming drops, with associated details on raffles, purchase links/times, resell value, and news updates. Users can also vote and see the popularity of each drop. The backend tracks updates from 1,000+ retailers and blogs to continually update our site. After all, the drop market is saturated with rumors and last-minute changes, so our platform works to make sense of the mayhem so that you don’t have to. We want to bring power back to the true fans and the newly curious -- those who enjoy sneakers for the art and history and not just for the resell value. Hopefully, our platform can allow more people to participate and to build their own unique tastes. Let us know what we should add next! Open q to everyone here: what was the sneaker that “got away?” What would’ve made getting that drop easier?

Wow this is super cool, bookmarked. I love the ui! Super simple and straight forward. How can indie brands get on here?
Brandon Truong
@tylersunami thanks! if you have a drop coming up or are aware of, shoot us an email at hello@coopcoopcoop.com with the deets 🙏. also, if you just want to put a brand on our radar for the future, send it over and we'll work to add it into our system. we've been wary of opening COOP completely for user submissions since we want to keep the content as clean and real as possible, but if we opened it to trusted curators, do you think you'd be down to contribute?

The execution on this is flawless, this tool could not be more simple than it is right now. Congrats!
Brandon Truong
@r_b_1 thanks r.b. 🔥

Super cool, would it just be for shoes or clothing as well?
Brandon Truong
@jerryzheng we've been focused on sneakers since that's where the spotlight has been on "drops" lately, but we think there's going to be a new wave of this drop culture across more types of clothing -- luxury, streetwear, etc. if you know of any drops you'd like to see showcased here, email hello (at) coopcoopcoop.com and we'll work to get it on!

Grats on the launch! Love the UI. I feel like sometimes i don’t have a good gauge on what’s trendy/cool and what’s not. Do you guys plan on curating those so i can know what to buy?
Brandon Truong
@peterlzhou thanks peter! if you vote 🔥 or 🧱 on any drop on the site, you can see the spread from the community thus far, which can give you a pretty good gauge on whether something's hot or not. and perhaps an even better gauge is the "resale estimate"s. if something is predicted to resell at a high price, you can bet that it's 🔥🔥🔥 as far as pure curation, our newsletter will showcase curated drops with information on how to buy it for yourself, especially if the release is limited

Just playing around with it now, and it already seems waaay better than the others. Great design too :)) I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can finally graduate out of my stans ;) Aka.. BIG if true!!
Brandon Truong
@kurtslaw thanks kurt 😭yes update us if you end up copping something new
Mutable Matter
This is super clean, love the UI and the amount of sources for the drop. What other features are you guys thinking about?
Brian Truong
@mutable_matter really appreciate the support! We're trying to listen closely to our users for what's next, but some ideas we've been floating around have been: - Auto-entry into sneaker raffles - Personalized newsletter updates based on brands/sneakers you follow - Brand recommendations from what you like - A section for emerging artists and brands - Expansion into other verticals, like art, collectibles, and other collaborations
