ConsoliDoc, LLC was founded in November of 2019 by Matthew Forbes and Lawson Brophy during their first year of college in Chicago, Illinois and Amherst, Massachusetts. As required by their schools, both set about to collect, consolidate, and share specific medical information from previously visited facilities in Michigan and across the country. What should have been an immediate document transfer was drawn out into weeks and required far more effort than what should be reasonably expected of any patient epically during a treatment. Thus, the problem was identified: there is a lack of tools that allow patients to access, manage, and share their own health information from all visited facilities; ConsoliDoc was created to fill this void. After experiencing the flawed nature of the record management system and the insufficiencies of existing ‘solutions,’ Matthew and Lawson began conducting market research and quickly identified problems in the medical field. Shortly after, ConsoliDoc was founded and Matthew and Lawson left their studies to help patients take control of their medical records.
