I'm working on a larger project with a friend with a lot of setbacks. Sometimes however, there's time to celebrate a success. We were missing a celebration tool on our Macs. So I built a native confetti thrower app called Confetti Magic. We can now party every time we have a success! πŸŽ‰ It's a menu bar app with a configurable shortcut to throw confetti. Personally, I chose a shortcut that I am likely to press accidentally. It brings a smile to my face every time I get some unexpected confetti :) It's $2.99 because I want to be able to justify to myself updating it in the future. But it's Christmas soon, so here are some free promo codes for my fellow hunters (only valid in December 2023)! πŸŽ‰ TMNFJ6TAH4EJ EN93AN9NETX6 6JPJNMP3PLJA J3MW3YENKXTJ 9NN4PK34HYMK EYXJ4P7PF77E MJ4RNF49N9XE RHJ4PT6JY9MM HYR696WP4YRX X6EH33EEAP3R Apple wants me to add this additional info to the promo code, so here's that I guess: Promo Codes expire on 2024-01-02 15:16:35 Etc/GMT and are redeemable only on the App Store for United States. Requires an Apple ID, subject to prior acceptance of license and usage terms. To create an Apple ID, you must be age 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your Home Country, as set forth in the registration process) and in United States. Compatible software and hardware, and internet access (fees may apply) required. Not for resale. Full terms apply; see www.apple.com/legal/itunes/ww/. For more information, see https://support.apple.com/apps. This app is provided to you by Apple Inc.

Awesome to see this. Personally, I run linux, so... Anyway, I use confetti.js in one of my apps whenever a user picks the right answer or passes a test (it's a citizenship test app). During dev, I went overboard like the screenshots here but users told me to dial it back. Something to consider

Love this, don't personally have a Mac :( But still think this would be cool if there's like DLC like packs like a Christmas, Thanksgiving, Chinese New Year Animal, Streamy Awards, Rolling Loud 2024 and more celebratory animations
