Hi everyone — Kiki here, founder of CLT Relocation Guide.
This started with a problem I watched up close. My husband is a Charlotte REALTOR, and over and over I saw his relocating clients — families moving across the country for a new job — drown in the same chaos: forty browser tabs, conflicting Reddit threads, and listing sites that tell you a house has three bedrooms but nothing about whether you’d actually like living there.
Nobody was answering the real questions. What’s this neighborhood actually like on a Tuesday morning? How long is the drive to the office at 8am — not at noon? Where do locals actually go? So I built the guide I wished existed.
CLT Relocation Guide pulls it all into one place:
• An interactive neighborhood map with 45+ curated local spots
• Commute Intelligence with live drive times to the places you’ll actually go
• “Day in the Life” narratives so you can feel a neighborhood before you ever visit
• A vetted network of local partners for everything you need once you land
One thing I care about a lot: no ads, no paywall for the people using it to plan their move. This isn’t a lead-gen funnel dressed up as a guide — it’s the resource I wanted my husband’s clients to have.
I’d love your feedback, especially on the neighborhood and commute tools — that’s the heart of it. And if you’ve ever relocated to a new city: what’s the one thing you wish you’d known before you moved? I’ll be here all day.

A side-by-side neighborhood comparison tool would be super useful, like picking two or three areas and seeing commute times, rent ranges, and walk scores lined up against each other. Would make narrowing down where to actually look way less overwhelming.

Charlotte-focused relocation resources all in one spot is genuinely useful, and the commute time breakdowns feel more honest than the usual listing site fluff.
