Why the Compliance Checker exists

Privacy compliance tooling today tends to sit at one of two extremes. On one end, free scanners produce dense, jargon-heavy outputs that are difficult to act on. On the other hand, enterprise platforms gate meaningful insight behind pricing that most teams — particularly small and mid-sized businesses — simply cannot justify.

The result is a meaningful gap in the middle: teams that take privacy seriously, but lack a clear, accessible way to evaluate where their website actually stands.
