Most of my career has been in FinTech and I leveraged that experience to create Company 360. I built first version 2 years ago, when my daughter was born, to help me invest her college fund money. I published it on the AppStore and then monetized it (subscription model). Right now only iOS version exist. I'm considering building Android and web versions. My Primary customers are users of bare-bones trading platforms (Ex: Robinhood) without access to research. Their research comes from googling a stock or from reddit/FB forums. I posted about the app on multiple forums and get most of my downloads/feedback from there. Note: Wording of valuation explanations and terminology has been tailored specifically to such users. Data comes from multiple public APIs. I get statements, prices, some ratios and calculate the rest on the fly. Some statistics: App is profitable. Total Downloads: 3.73K About Company 360: App pulls together company profile, investors, risk data, insider trading and annual/quarterly financial statements. Analysis includes: * Valuation based on key indicators, P/E Ratio and prof. Benjamin Graham (Warren Buffett’s teacher) formulas for intrinsic value. * Formulas and input data are explained in detail. * Dividend Yield calculation. * Insider transactions. * List of top institutional and fund investors Probability models: * Magic Formula screener. * Piotroski F-Score: Formula that identified financially strong companies even during crisis of 2007-2008. * Bankruptcy Test (Altman Z-Score): Formula to check if company is heading for bankruptcy. * Earnings Fraud Test (Beneish M-Score): Formula that exposed earnings manipulation by Enron. Sentiment: * Analysis against WallStreetBets forum on Reddit. Top 50 WSB trending stocks are used for sentiment analysis.

@john_mirochnik Congratulations on the second launch. Could you tell what has changed since the last version? Also, if your users are using barebones platform, how do you cover the knowledge gaps for them to interpret F Score, Bankruptcy, and Fraud?

Thank you Ankur! UI/UX went through significant changes. I also added probability models and sentiment analysis. Changes were initiated by user feedback, UI/UX design reviews and analysis reviews. The important part are the explanations for each formula/ratio. I specifically tailored the wording for retail investors. Therefore, explanations serve a second purpose - they educate retail investor on formula is used, where the data comes from and what it means. Another interesting discovery: Initially, I believed in ‘if you build it, they will come’ and did not spread awareness besides first launch on PH. 5 months ago I started posting on Reddit and FB forums and became active on Independent Hackers as well. I saw significant increase in downloads.
