Hi there👋, I'm the founder of commentie, the smart inbox for comments. Do you remember when social media was a cool space, where the community could have a meaningful discussion? These days when I open comment sections on YouTube, Instagram... not to mention Facebook, I feel like it is not a space for me anymore. If you are a content creator, you are naturally interested in your audience's opinions, feedback and want to engage with them. But as you reach some level of popularity, the number of comments becomes too much to process. And what is worse, the kind of messages that you care about the most are lost among the comments with no real value. Commentie is aiming to solve this problem by reprioritizing the comments. To pop up important and noteworthy comments like genuine questions, constructive feedback... and analyze the rest to be able to present to you as a summary of emotions and popular topics. Similar comments and questions are automatically categorized, grouped, counted, and prioritized by multiple attributes. Furthermore, it is trying to give you tools to automate spam deletion, and moderating toxic or otherwise inappropriate behavior so your audience would feel safe to engage. We have built a prototype of all important building blocks of that product and we hope we will launch soon, with a small group of early users at first, so we can fine-tune our algorithms and get some real-life feedback. At the beta stage, we are not planning to charge any fees, because we value the feedback of our early supporters more. When we will get to the stage where we will feel that it's ready, we are planning this as a paid service. However, we still want to keep some part of commentie's functionalities free of charge. I hope you would like this idea as much as I do and would really appreciate any kind of feedback (good and bad).
