Hi Product Hunt 👋 I make small web apps, and I kept running into the same annoying task: I wanted to show a great comment from a YouTube video in a post or a clip, and my only option was a screenshot. Screenshots are blurry when you scale them, they carry the whole page around them, and you can't put them on a coloured background without it looking like a patch. CommentGrab does it differently. You hover a comment on YouTube, click it, and it's grabbed: the name, the text, the likes, the avatar. Not a picture of it. The comment is then redrawn, so it stays sharp at any size, works on any background, and can be animated. What you can do with the comments you grab: • Arrange them on a canvas in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5 • Export one PNG per comment with a transparent background, into a folder or a ZIP • Animate them: comments arrive one by one, likes count up, timing follows reading time • Export MP4, or use a green screen background and key it out in your editor Every export comes with a small text file listing where each comment came from, with a link back to it, so you can credit people.
