Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Aaditya. I built CommandKit for one simple reason: I was tired of being the middle-man between my AI and my code. We all know the "Context Window Shuffle": Copy code from IDE... Paste into AI... Copy solution back... Run in terminal... Copy error back to AI... It breaks your flow. So, I built a bridge to fix it. Meet Command Kit: A unified suite of MCP servers that gives your AI agent safe, direct access to your local workflow. It currently includes two core tools: 📂 File Manager: Lets the AI read your directory structure and edit files directly. No more uploading zips. 💻 Terminal: Lets the AI execute commands (npm install, git commit, running tests) right from the chat. 🔐 A note on safety: I know giving an AI terminal access is a big leap. I designed Command Kit to be transparent—you are still the pilot; the AI is just the co-pilot that can finally reach the controls.
