Hey! I'm Marc, I built ColumnLens. I spent years working with security logs and IoT data. Millions of rows, CSV files that make Excel crash, JSONL exports that no tool could open without choking. I kept switching between command line tools and Jupyter notebooks None of it felt right for just quickly looking at data. So I built what I wanted: a desktop app that opens huge files instantly and lets me query them with SQL, chart them, and explore them in 3D. No cloud, no account, no waiting. The tech choice was unconventional. I used Dear ImGui for the UI, which is mostly known for game engine debug tools. But it's incredibly fast and gives me full control over rendering.
