Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Rod. I used Edge Collections every day: trip planning, project research, parts lists for things I was building. When it became clear Microsoft was winding it down, I built Collections Plus so I could keep mine. Then Microsoft retired it for real. So here's what Collections Plus does: 🗂️ The Collections workflow, back in a side panel (or a floating window) in Chrome and Edge. Save a page, image, link, or text selection in one click, right-click, or Ctrl+Shift+S. 🛟 Recover what Edge left behind. Most people never exported before Collections disappeared. Edge still leaves a SQLite database on disk, and Collections Plus reads it directly, thumbnails and favicons included. As far as I know, nothing else does this. ▶️ Open a whole collection at once as a named tab group, like the original. 🔗 Beat link rot. It flags dead links and saves readable snapshots so the content survives. 📊 Export to a real .xlsx with clickable links, or CSV, Markdown, HTML, or a shareable web page. ✨ Optional AI with your own key (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok, Azure, or local Ollama): search by meaning, summarize, suggest tags, get a weekly digest. It's off until you turn it on. What it doesn't do matters just as much: no account, no server, no telemetry. Your collections live in your browser. Sync is a single file you keep in your own OneDrive, Drive, Dropbox, or iCloud folder. It's MIT-licensed and on GitHub. Almost every recent release came from someone writing in.
