The Founder’s Story: Why I Created CollabsPay For a long time, I struggled to collaborate beyond my borders. As a creator and entrepreneur from Nigeria, I constantly found myself limited not by ideas or ambition, but by infrastructure. Every time I wanted to work with a creator, influencer, or businesses outside my country, I ran into the same wall: 💸 complicated payment systems, 🤝 lack of trust from other businesses because i was small and sometimes Nigerian 📑 and no real way to structure fair, transparent partnerships online. Although I saw how bigger brands and creators in developed markets did partnerships but i knew there was the general problem of partners getting into legal and financial chaos due to these partnership structure that were only sometimes backed by empty papers and probably no proper regulatory body if it was amongst smaller entities or entities without addressable locations (online) So, I decided to fix it. The Spark I wanted to collaborate with global creators and businesses online without having them worry about my trust or anyone having to lose their proper attribution share at the end of the day, also an accountable solution where I could still deal performance based partnerships with other creators without having to invest anything upfront but the guarantee of a system that delivered revenue attribution exactly based on performance and agreement partnerships like - “Hey, let’s build something together. You promote it, I’ll handle the backend and we both earn automatically when it sells, no need for you to send me money later or vise versa, we can both have a transparent system do the work for us.” But there was no platform that made that possible. Nothing that could securely structure deals, manage trust, and automate the flow of money between collaborators - all online. So, I built one. The Birth of CollabsPay CollabsPay was born from that need; the need to make digital partnerships and collaborations simple, fair, and borderless.
