Hi everyone, Volodymyr here, founder of Cognitive Biases Academy.
While building the library, I had to read primary research on 190+ biases, and the uncomfortable part was recognizing myself in most of them. My personal weak spot is the planning fallacy. This project was supposed to take 6 months. It took much longer, and I knew about the bias the whole time. Knowing the name doesn't make you immune; it just helps you catch it a bit earlier.
So here's the thread: which bias catches YOU most often, in work or in life? Confirmation bias when researching a purchase? Sunk cost on a project you should have killed? Anchoring in a salary negotiation?
If you're not sure what to blame, browse the full list at cognitivebiases.academy and find your usual suspect. Everything is free and available in 66 languages.
