I wanted a place where people could browse custom pets, download working packages, and eventually make their own without manually building sprite sheets and manifests. Today CodexPets.net includes 842+ checked pet packages with previews, attribution, and direct downloads. The new AI generator lets you describe a companion, pick a style, optionally add a reference image, then get a private Codex-ready ZIP with preview assets, spritesheet/atlas, manifest, setup notes, and download. The beta is free, no login required, and currently allows one generation per IP per day. This is an independent community resource and is not affiliated with OpenAI.
