Practice Python, Swift, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, C#, and SQL with 280+ short challenges. Each language has an interpreter built into the app, so your code runs on the device. No account, no subscription: one purchase for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

Hi Product Hunt! I’m Eric, and I built Codewise because I wanted to practice code on my phone without a connection, an account, or a monthly fee.
Who it’s for: people learning their first language, and developers picking up a second one. You get a goal and starter code, type a real solution, run it, and see whether the output matches.
What’s unusual: each of the seven languages (Python, Swift, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, C#, SQL) has its own interpreter written in Swift and built into the app, so everything runs on the device, even in airplane mode. They aren’t full runtimes. Each covers what the challenges need, and the editor’s error hints come from the same parser. The SQL module is an in-memory engine that prints results like psql.
New in 1.4: Python Design Patterns, 16 challenges where you build a Singleton and practice dependency injection with fakes and a tiny container.
It’s a one-time purchase covering iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Feedback that would help most:
Which language or topic should come next?
If you tried a challenge, was the error hint clear enough to fix your code?
