I love the premise of this
- I do not see why we need to use the webcam though, microphone makes sense but seeing the other person does not seem NEEDED.
- Have a way to draw out ideas would be cool
- I tried this a couple times and both times I never heard a peep from my partner, and they simply left. Was very strange.
@johnson3650 Thanks a lot for the feedback. We have noticed there is a pattern of people being just curious and joining sessions just to see how everything works, without activating their camera. Unfortunately, because of the way we built it, the communication stream (including video and chat) only works if you also enable the camera, so unless you enable your camera you don't see the other person either. Because it will take us a while to change that, we have temporarily added a new step where we ask you to enable your camera before being matched with someone else. We're looking at the metrics right now to see if it's improving the user experience.
