Hello, everyone! 👋
I'm one of the makers of Coderoulette and I'm really happy to launch Coderoulette on Product Hunt today. I will be available to answer any question you might have and I would love to hear what you think about the product.
Coderoulette is not just a game, it's also a personal adventure to help us understand better how people collaborate and learn while working with others. We think the biggest challenges humanity is facing will be solved by groups of people collaborating, and we want to help everyone get better at working with their peers.
On top of that, our education experience was somehow lonely, boring and passive, and we believe there should be a much more engaging, human and fun way to learn new things. This is how Coderoulette was born!
Here is an article I posted explaining more about our motivation and goals:

I hope you enjoy it! 😊
@tsunaze we initially had Github login and we removed it to simplify the UX, but it's something we might add back if many people find it useful.
Here is the pitch:
"Learning new things shouldn't be a boring, passive and lonely experience. We built Coderoulette to help developers explore and learn new languages while having fun and creating human connections with other developers from around the world".
Coderoulette is a pair programming game for developers. It matches developers from all around the world in real time and gives them coding challenges they have to solve using video conference and a collaborative IDE. It's like a Chatroulette for developers. But here is the catch... The two developers in each team don’t know which programming language they will have to use. They just know that at least one of them already knows that language, so most likely one of them will have to learn from each other. Coderoulette is not just a game, it's also an experiment on collaborative learning.
