The break shows up downstream, in someone else's service, after deploy. A field rename, a removed endpoint, a newly required field, and days later it costs real money. On every PR it diffs your OpenAPI spec and posts a comment with a risk score, the affected services, a merge decision, and a rough dollar estimate of the downstream fix cost.
