Most typing games use regular text/quotes. This uses real code snippets in 10 different languages (Java, Python, C++, C, Typescript, Go, C#, HTML, Javascript, & Kotlin). Code snippets have uncommon characters that regular text won't let you practice. You can type out snippets in these languages and see a chart of your words per minute, accuracy, and mistakes so that you can improve over time. It's free to play and fun. I improved quickly using this and no longer look at my keyboard when coding.
I built this because i saw competetive programmers typing super fast. I realized that if I code slow it will really limit me and make it harder for me to implement things. I used to have to look at my keyboard to type semi colons, brackets, and other characters that mainly pop up in just programming. Did anyone else struggle with this learnin to code? I think this free game would help a lot of people wit this. Instead of having to code for years to eventually build up to a good speed I think a game like this can help them do it really quickly. I would appreciate any feedback you have!
