In 2017, a friend and I, both unemployed at the time, decided to invest in developing a software as a service (SaaS) solution. Initially, we didn’t have a defined market segment, so we conducted extensive research to identify the ideal industry to enter. We found a promising opportunity in the dental field and, within six months, developed what would become the MVP of our product. Despite its initial simplicity, we noticed strong market acceptance and were able to secure a few sales. From that point on, we focused on continuous improvements, making the software increasingly competitive. After two years, we had a small development and support team and began to scale the business rapidly. Today, our product is used by over 24,000 dentists, manages more than 2.5 million active patients, and has surpassed 10 million scheduled appointments.
