A little context ... Kindful is CRM built specifically for nonprofits. We combine fundraising tools like donation landing pages and crowdfunding with a CRM backend for reporting, donor management, retention, etc. Historically, nonprofit software is about a decade behind other categories. Terrible UX, siloed data, expensive, you name it, it’s bad. So we’re trying to take a more modern, API-driven approach to the platform and our SaaS product for, you know, all the reasons. With that in mind, we’ve just launched an innovation fund called Code For Kindness, which is all about incentivizing integrations development using our API. We believe in the power of integrated technology and want nonprofits to have the freedom to use best-in-class tools without undercutting their ability to leverage their data to make more impact. It’s a simple process to apply and here’s the twist: for each approved, paid integration, we are encouraging each dev shop to donate at least some of the proceeds to a charity of their choice. Build Once, Give Twice. It’s a giving back initiative through better software.
