Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Cowboy, and I built cocurate: AI-assisted cooking, but inside an app actually designed for cooking instead of a generic chat window.
Like a lot of people, I’d started asking ChatGPT for recipes and then cooking straight out of the chat: scrolling a wall of text on my phone with messy hands, no timers, and every “actually, can I use yogurt instead?” meant re-reading a whole new reply to work out what had changed. And half the time I’d rather cook a real recipe someone has actually tested, with photos. cocurate gives you both, inside an app built for cooking, where your changes update the recipe itself.
Describe a craving. “Something warm and spicy for a rainy night” finds real, tested recipes from real cooks, or writes an original one when nothing online quite fits.
Ask anything. Out of buttermilk? Halving it for two? Accept the swap and your copy of the recipe rewrites itself around it, steps included. Save it and your version is the one you come back to.
Cook together. Tell it you’re cooking with someone and it splits the work across a shared timeline, so you both finish sooner.
Guided cooking. Every ingredient is highlighted where the step uses it; tap for the exact amount. Any duration in the text (“simmer 30 minutes”) becomes a real timer inside the step.
Clean imports. Paste any recipe link and get just the ingredients, steps and times.
It’s free to try, no sign-up needed. Describe what you’re in the mood for or split a recipe with a friend, and let me know how it goes!
