CoColor is an Android app for choosing interior colors from the real world. Point your camera at a room, wall, floor, furniture, fabric, or object, and CoColor extracts the palette, suggests matching colors, finds close RAL Classic paint matches, and helps you search for similar interior references. I built it after repainting my own hallway dark blue and realizing that reference images make bold color choices much less scary.

Does the RAL match actually factor in the lighting conditions of the room when you take the photo, or is it just picking the closest static swatch to whatever the camera captures?
Love that it pulls real RAL matches instead of generic swatches, that grounding in actual paint codes is what makes the suggestions feel usable rather than just pretty.
Love this idea, the RAL match feature is super useful for actually getting paint. One thing that would make it even better is letting users save palettes and label them per room or project, so when you are planning a full home refresh you can revisit your hallway palette next to the living room one without losing them in your camera roll.
The RAL match feature is genuinely handy, way more useful than I expected when I just wanted to eyeball a moody green from a cafe wall. Suggesting complementary colors straight from a photo makes picking a palette feel less like guesswork.
Picked a pillow off my couch and got three paint codes back that were actually close to the fabric, which saved me from guessing in the store.
Love how you skipped endless swatch scrolling and let people point their camera at real life instead. The RAL Classic mapping is such a thoughtful touch.
