Have you considered adding a tax drag adjustment to the projections? Right now it looks like it assumes pure compounding, but factoring in something like a 15-20% effective tax rate on withdrawal would give a much more realistic picture of when someone actually hits their Coast FI number.

@ardac7vvThanks for the fantastic feedback! You're completely right, tax drag can definitely create a gap between net spending and gross withdrawal needs depending on account types (Roth vs. Traditional vs. Taxable).
To keep the interface clean and minimalist, we designed the 'Retirement Living Expenses' input to represent gross annual spending. Based on your feedback, I've just updated the UI with a clearer input label and added a section in our guide/FAQ explaining how users can factor in tax drag (by adjusting their gross target upward).
