🎉🎉🎉My 7-years-hobby project just leveled up! Originally developed as a handy tool for my own use while I worked at AWS and at Microsoft with Azure, it has now become a daily tool for employees and engineers from Microsoft, AWS and hundreds consulting companies. It offers a quick and simple way to compare specifications, savings options, and pricing for EC2 / VMs / Instances across the three major public cloud providers. 🛠️ Over the last 10 months as a side project, during weekends and holidays, we've hardly worked on: + Adding support for AWS & GCP, + Introducing a bunch of new features: batch export, unified search, etc., + Implementing a fresh new UI, + Migrating our database to Clickhouse, + Updating pricing plans. 📈 It's now processing around 8GB of SKUs and HTML pages daily, re-training ML models, and serving approximately 2.5M requests per month.
