ClosedCast is a private video streaming platform built for archives, not algorithms. Organize family videos, sermons, training libraries, team footage, and other important video collections into a secure, distraction-free streaming experience. Share privately with trusted viewers and watch on the web or Roku—without public feeds, ads, social engagement, or recommendation algorithms.

I built ClosedCast because important videos have a way of becoming scattered over time—across hard drives, cloud folders, old links, public platforms, and devices. The files may still exist, but finding and watching them again becomes harder every year.
I wanted something different from a typical video platform. ClosedCast is built around preservation, privacy, and replayability rather than feeds, followers, ads, or algorithms.
The goal is to make a video collection feel more like a private streaming library: organized, easy to revisit, simple to share with trusted viewers, and comfortable to watch on the web or Roku.
I think this matters for more than one type of user. Families have home movies. Churches have years of sermons. Coaches have team footage. Organizations have training and historical archives. In each case, the real problem is not just storing video—it is keeping it usable and accessible over time.
That is the idea behind ClosedCast: built for archives, not algorithms.
I’d really value feedback from the Product Hunt community, especially around the private-streaming and long-term archive experience.
